Maca

Maca is powerful in its own right! Used to boost energy and balance out hormones in the brain, Maca is an overall aid for anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem issues. Said to be an adaptogen maca helps deflect and regulate the release of stress hormones such as cortisol. Lowering your cortisol level can help with weight management and bloated ness as cortisol generally affect weight gain around the stomach area. Additionally, Maca can enhance your libido, a high libido releases endorphins making you feel more energized, happy, and productive with your time.

Antioxidants

The benefit of this smoothie is its high antioxidant content. The inclusion of cacao powder, beetroot, spinach, rich berries, and lemon deliver nutrients, and vitamins, that can fight free radicals causing havoc in the body…the result?…only amazing youthful skin, healthy strong bones, and an abundance of energy!

sugar regulating

The cinnamon ingredient in this smoothie helps to regulate and lower sugar spikes in the blood, which in turn can help prevent or lower the chance of developing diabetes. Another benefit is the natural sugars from the berries which allow your body to digest and expend useful energy, whereas, processed sugars are more likely to be stored in the body as fat with more adverse effects than natural sugars.
