Succulent slow braised crackling pear, swelled in maple syrup, topped with tangy berries and desiccated nuts- porridge has never been this cracking!

Sweet & tangy toppings marinated on a bed of sticky, protein-rich, fibrous porridge. This porridge is the epitome of everything nutritious with the nostalgic feel of eating next to a fireplace!
Ingredients:
- 100g gluten-free oats
- 400ml of almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 2 ripe pears, halved
- 1 handful of frozen berries
- 1tbsp of desiccated nuts
- 2 teaspoons chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- pinch of sea salt
- 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 1tbsp almond butter
- 1tbsp maple syrup

How to make:
- Halve and remove the pit from the pears
- In a low-heat pan add the maple syrup and butter and stir to combine
- Place the pears in the maple mixture and cook for 10 minutes on medium-low heat until the pears soften
- Add the almond milk, oats, cinnamon & sea salt ingredients to a pan and simmer, gently stirring frequently until the porridge reaches desired consistency
- Serve together and garnish with, chia seeds, berries, nuts, a drizzle of maple syrup, and a side of almond butter
